Asset-Based Framing

We often lead our justice conversations with people’s struggles: poverty, addiction, homelessness, eviction, and so on. But mentioning these problems reinforces and deepens the very stereotypes and biases we want to overcome. Leaders who have developed the skill of asset-based framing lift up and celebrate the strength and resilience of people and communities and invite further investment in their success.
