Communities Free From Gun Violence

We love how this speaker at a local gun violence prevention vigil and rally tapped into every community's aspiration to be a place where neighbors nurture each other. Here's what he said:

Because I know we all share something in common: we all want to live in communities where our kids, our families, and our neighbors are nurtured and protected. Where our youngsters go on to live long lives filled with joy, challenges, triumphs, and love. That’s what we want for our own families and everyone else’s. Whether you call that Midwestern values or just being human. It’s who we are."
